After serving as an orthopedic surgeon for the Kaiser Permanente Medical Group for more than 25 years, Dr. John Frauens accepted a position as an orthopedic consultant at the Hawaii Division of Corrections in Honolulu. In his free time, Dr. John Frauens pursues a variety of hobbies, and enjoys following his favorite football team, the Pittsburgh Steelers.

In a recent press release, the Pittsburgh Steelers announced that Vince Williams signed a new three-year contract extension. Williams, a 6-foot-1-inch, 247-pound linebacker, was drafted by the Steelers in 2013 and has spent his entire professional career with the team.

After making 11 starts during his rookie season, Williams moved to the reserve squad and has since become one of the team’s top defensive backups. Over the course of his career, the Florida State alumnus has chalked up 85 solo stops and pulled down 26 special-teams tackles in 47 appearances. This season, Williams will likely continue to serve as a backup inside linebacker for 10-year veteran Lawrence Timmons.
